After much deliberation and study of the restored Brockenhurst Fire Bell photo I decided to apply a coat of black paint to the steel bar headstock. Now it's ready for hanging - but how?

- During early life I was known as Fido - so I use that as my internet identity where I can. I am a retired Local Government man who now enjoys a variety of interests. In these blogs I hope to share some of them with anyone with a shared sense of humour who may come across them.
